I actually didn't leave the house today. Even just breathing is exhausting because it is way too hot outside. I feel like the weather skipped spring and went straight to summer. I miss the times when it's solid 20°C outside. But hey, I have iced coffee and vegan vanilla ice cream at home. My survival kid is complete.
Another week passed without blogging regularly. I feel sorry but it's this summers exam-season already (*cry*) and I need to learn a lot for my tests. That's probably the typical-asian-part of me haha.
After another day full of applied microeconomics, I've finally found some time for shopping. I was allowed to choose an outfit from the local New Yorker Store as a fashion blogger. Since I was looking for long dungarees for a pretty long time, I have finally found a pair that are skinny enough for my chicken-legs. And the shirt was a must-have for my current university-situation. For real. I literally run on caffeine right now.
When I went to the cashier, her first statement was: "Wow, such a colorful selection." Well... I'm that kind of person who wears black even when it's like 39823 degrees outside, so... I just stay true to myself.
EN: I feel so sorry for not blogging so much lately, but unfortunately I'm not a fulltime-blogger so I have many other things to do, for example learning for my upcoming test in applied micro economics. I try to be calm but to be honest I'm pretty nervous.
For some reason I was stylist for everyone this Saturday. I made my best friend's hair, my sister's hair and another friend's make up. Yesterday was this year's prom of my old school, but I didn't go because I couldn't stand most of the people from my old school ugh. However, I think I did a pretty good job, and Laura looks beautiful with this kind of 50s rockabilly-hair. To complete the vibes of our little self-made shooting in my home studio, we listened to Elvis Presley the entire time (as seen on snapchat for those who follows me there).
Sometimes just grab your best friend and test new things out. Try it. It's fun. And I think we had some pretty badass results. I feel like a part of a vintage coca-cola-commercial.
How does it come that the last two weeks were so busy? So many photos left to edit and so little time...
The second and third post about my 28-teatox is also missing. My scanner isn't working properly and I'm that kind of perfectionist who doesn't post something unless it's 100%-kicki-approved. And a food diary in text only/without pictures would be boring, right? So I decided to put the last 3 weeks in one huge blogpost with the final result.
The first thing I'm going to do now is calm down, chill and reflect. Sundays are made for "activities" like that. And I'm pretty grateful for this perfect pair of sweatpants, it's so soft on the inside I literally want to live in them. I also know that there are mixed feelings about this 2Pac-hairstyle, but I like it on my head, and that's the only thing that matters.
How is it possible so feel so hangover without drinking a single drop alcohol? It's Saturday night and I chill at home. But hey, I am productive, sitting in front of my Macbook, editing pictures, watching Marvel films. Like always. Shoutout to the #StayHomeClub.
At least this outfit makes me look like a sporty gurl. I'm totally in love with this sweater. Simple pieces with a little extra like cut outs on the shoulder parts are my all-time-favorites.
Okay. I think tea and some snacks are a good way to cure headache and pseudo-hangover. That's exactly what I'm doing next. Have a nice wknd. xx
Yesterday I saw a very inspirational quote on tumblr:
When I wear a dress.
Others: You look nice. What are you dressed up for.
Me: Don't wanna wear pants. Don't wanna match tops and bottoms.
My first thought: That's so me! I mean, wearing a simple dress is the perfect chance to wear badass statement jewelry. Sometimes I'm not even in the mood to wear a bra. And do you know what's awesome about this dress? Am I wearing a bra? Can you even tell? Probably not.
Summer is coming and I'm still wearing nothing else but black haha.
I love how some small details can change an entire outfit, like the pieces of mesh in this dress and the pentagram-garter give this outfit something I would describe as "witchy". I'm sure I'm going to wear this dress a lot in summer. Too bad the weather in my hometown is a rainy b*tch and I would freeze my legs to death going out like this.
Hope you guys see more sunshine than me and have a nice weekend xx
Sorry that everything is so delayed, but I had several troubles with my wifi. All hail the day all my technical devices work properly...
However, today I wanted to show you my new favorite shoes from the italian brand QUANTICLO. You all probably know that plateaus are my absolutely favorite shoes to wear. This pair is pretty comfortable and (what's more important if you're a poor student like me) really really affordable. You can get those for only 17,90 Euro in their online shop.
Make sure you also check out their septum rings. The one I'm wearing is the Royal Gold Septum Ring which is perfect for my oriental inspired look.
P.S.: I know my roots are getting cray cray.
